I’m Mike Walsh and I’m Asking For Your Vote

Alright. So Grant Fritchey did it first. And if he can do then I suppose I can also 😉 (I actually agree with him and think you should vote for Grant and Gail in their respective categories). Actually, I think there are a lot of good candidates out there, including some excellent new bloggers (either new to blogging or new to SQL Server Pedia)

What am I talking about? The SQLServerPedia Blogger Awards. Voting is simple – sign up for free to SQLServerPedia Correction – no sign in necessary! You just have to take 3-5 minutes to vote for all the categories.

If You want to vote for me I am in the Book Review category and the Professional Development Category. The posts from me for consideration are –  Book Review of Professional SQL Server 2008 Internals and Troubleshooting (a great book 🙂 ), a Professional Development Post reminding people to share knowledge and help others grow and a Professional Development post in my how to blog series answering the “Why Should I blog?” Question (one of my favorite series because it actually helped inspire some great bloggers to start and I always wish I started blogger earler.)

Be sure to check out all of the posts from everyone and vote for the one you like best. While you are there, check out the great articles and blog posts that SQLServerPedia aggregates for you. With one feed subscription you can get a lot of content from some excellent SQL Server bloggers!

Article by Mike Walsh
Mike loves mentoring clients on the right Systems or High Availability architectures because he enjoys those lightbulb moments and loves watching the right design and setup come together for a client. He started Straight Path in 2010 when he decided that after over a decade working with SQL Server in various roles, it was time to try and take his experience, passion, and knowledge to help clients of all shapes and sizes. Mike is a husband, father to four great children, and a Christian. He’s a volunteer Firefighter and EMT in his small town in New Hampshire, and when he isn’t playing with his family, solving SQL Server issues, or talking shop, it seems like he has plenty to do with his family running a small farm in NH raising Beef Cattle, Chickens, Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Honeybees and who knows what other animals have been added!
