Sure we’re there as your DBA team, but with over 120 customers – we get to see all sorts of things in SQL Server environments. Sometimes great things and ideas we share, sometimes lessons of what not do we equally want to share.
- Monthly review call – Each month your lead Senior DBA, or support team DBA for Micro clients, has a review of your upcoming plans, the proactive work we’ve done, what we recommend and make sure we are moving forward in the way you need. We are your DBA teams and we integrate into our client environments.
- Daily Health Check summary review on weekdays. Our team reviews the daily health report our tools send each day, and we summarize that for you without taking away your hours to do that. They are also watching your alerts and tickets throughout the day also.
- Access to the team same business day with 4 hour response guarantee (we beat that by a LOT for P1s – internally, if we aren’t on a P1 ticket or alert in 15 minutes during business hours, that’s a conversation we’re having with the resource responsible for the ticket and alert queues at that time.)
- US-based Senior DBA as your technical lead and Account Executive (we don’t off-shore or bait-and-switch; our DBAs are our FTEs – most have been here as long as our clients – years.) For Micro level clients, you still have access to the full team, your account lead is a DBA or Junior DBA in our support team (most are on their way to being our net Senior DBAs with our team mentoring them.)

- SQL Server Patching and Maintenance are planned and executed off-hours on your schedule, not ours. We don’t have a different fee schedule for after-hours work or “unplanned” work vs planned work.
Our DBA service plans save you money over hourly engagements. Our bucket-of-hours engagement model sells a bucket for $7,000 for 20 hours and $13,000 for 40 hours. The bucket-of-hour engagements are excellent for one-and-done projects but include no on-call support, no dedicated lead DBA, no monitoring tools and proactive review, and no check-in call each month, etc.
